ESG/Sustainability Assurance Provider Training
Integrated Reporting & Assurance Services (IRAS), under the guidance of Michael H Rea, our Managing Partner and Lead Certified Sustainability Assurance Practitioner (L-CSAP), is pleased to announce that we are once again a Certified AccountAbility CSAP Assurance Training Provider for AccountAbility (www.accountability.org). Our re-instatement as an official training provider follows on from IRAS’s history of providing CSAP training for AccountAbility from 2009 to 2013 and is fully aligned to the increased licensing and certification standards set by AccountAbility to meet increasing demand for CSAP certification.
In accordance with AccountAbility’s requirements and guidance, IRAS will start providing all three modules of AccountAbility’s CSAP training in September 2023:

Discounts will be offered to African Citizens and residents of African countries working for African companies.
The assurance training will be provided in three modes:
Online self-study plus three hours of online lecture via MSTeams as per a determined schedule (starting in early September 2023).
Online self-study plus three hours of online videotaped lectures to be completed as per your own schedule (starting in early October 2023).
Five days of intensive training, inclusive of the requirements of the online content as per AccountAbility’s guidance, to be provided in Johannesburg and facilitated by Michael, one of the world’s most experienced providers of independent third-party ESG/Sustainability Assurance with 24 years of experience. The in-person training will include a broader set of case studies and physical/practical exercises and will lead to opportunities to partner with IRAS in the provision of assurance engagements.These courses will start in late September 2023 and the five-day course will cost R15 000 / US$900 / £700 / €800.
